Company description
Food and Beverage stylist
Job description
Food Stylist assistant I'm looking for someone to assist me on photo and video shoots.
Cooking experience and basic knife skills are a must.
Restaurant experience is nice but not necessary.
I'm looking for someone who can follow directions, stay focused and problem solve.
Every job and crew is different, so there isn't a consistent normal to this job. Some jobs are in studios, some jobs are in homes, some jobs are in the middle of a field. I'm looking for an assistant who can adapt and make the most out of each situation. Shopping and sourcing is a huge part of this job, so my assistant must be willing to spend a whole day shopping to find the best produce, flowers, herbs, meats, etc. This part of the job requires a keen eye for quality and beauty.
The job includes carrying heavy bags and getting in and out of cabs and going up and down stairs, so applicants need to be physically fit and prepared to work hard. Some jobs are 8 hour days, and some are 12 hour days. It all depends on the work load and how efficiently we can get things done.
Jobs these days pay anywhere from $250-$350 per day.
I use a payroll company so taxes will be taken out and payment will come via direct deposit 30 to 60 days after the job. Work in this industry is not consistent and follows the ebs and flows of the economy. Some months can be busy and some months can be slow so this is not a job for someone who needs a consistent income. This is a job for someone with flexibility and additional sources of income.
Compensation
