Connecticut based couple passionate about organic garden-to-table cooking seeks an experienced full time private chef who will oversee meals at the couples' residences domestically and internationally. Private family with multiple properties.
Job description
The ideal candidate is seeking a long-term commitment, will have private chef experience and at least 5-7 years fine dining and cooking experience in kitchen with a farm-to-table philosophy. With a great positive attitude and passion for healthy, organic cooking, the chef will generally cook five days a week at the couple's CT residence and be required to travel to their homes in Napa, CA and Bordeaux, France throughout the year. Chef should be able to seamlessly execute a range of cooking from healthy, organic meals for two to multi-course dinner parties, and occasionally catering larger dinner parties. Couple has organic vegetable garden and seeks a passionate chef whose cooking style and philosophy is in sync with their healthy lifestyle. Must be willing to travel for long or short periods of time (1 week to 2 months at a time) and be flexible with couple’s travel schedule. Verifiable references and passing background checks will be required. Compensation
this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $90,000.00 - $120,000.00
