Edible Landscaping and Maintenance Specialist

The goal of this position is to provide excellent service to our Urban Plantations' Home Clients and Home Coaching Clients. We aim to provide a positive home garden experience by integrating gardening service and passive education. It is our intention to provide each of our clients with a unique experience while also maintaining consistent and efficient process. This position calls for great attention to detail within each garden and a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Must have experience in horticulture, growing vegetables & fruit trees, organic practices, soil health, pest management and sustainable landscape practices
• Knowledge of and demonstrated ability with applicable garden tools
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Superior customer service skills
• Capable of maintaining a stock of supplies and nursery inventory
• Must have knowledge of drip irrigation
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs
• Must have reliable transportation and be licensed to drive a vehicle
• Must have a cell phone
• Must have acces to computer and internet
• Experience with google docs a plus
• Experience in garden or farm education a plus

This position is part time with potential to grow into to full time; ideal for someone who has a flexible schedule and wants to work outside.

Starting pay is $10 per hour during training with immeadiate increases based on performance.
