Job description
Production Assistant: Golda Kombucha & Pure Abundance Vegan Cheese is looking for our next rising star. A packaging assistant is an entry level position at our production facility, fermentation kitchen and brewery located in southwest Atlanta.
The ideal candidate is hard working, takes pride in their work and is a quick learner. This position consists of helping package kombucha tea, vegan cheese and fermented foods. You'll work alongside the head brewer of Golda Kombucha and our Vegan Cheese Monger in Georgia's Largest Kombucha, Fermented Foods and Gerogia's only Vegan Cheese Manufacturing Facility.
A close eye for detail, craft, quality assurance and cleanliness is a must for this position. A substantial amount of heavy lifting and physical labor is required. The ideal person for this job has experience in mechanical labor, home brewing, food packaging, manual labor, fermentation or working in a fast-paced food environment. If you have worked in beer breweries, car shops, construction sites, machine factories, functioning farms, industrial plants or full-scale food production sites you might be a perfect fit. The ideal candidate is not afraid to get their hands dirty and enjoys the challenge of that kind of work. This job requires a great deal of hand-eye coordination and common sense. Culinary experience not required but knowing your way around a kitchen or brewery is a huge plus.
