Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Culinary Assistant to join our NYC-based culinary team working for our brand, Dinnerly. This is a chance to be part of the food revolution and join our food-tech company as we take our growth to the next level. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented and organized team player, with a passion for food and cooking.
What you’ll do:
- Master our content management systems
- Provide administrative support to the Culinary Manager and Recipe Manager as needed at each stage of menu building process
- Cross-test 5–7 recipes per week under the guidance of the Test Kitchen Director
- Support culinary team with recipe analysis as needed
- Meet deadlines and help the rest of the team do the same
Requirements
- Great attention to detail - this is a must
- Formal culinary training and/or professional cooking experience
- An organized self-starter, with a natural ability to multi-task
- Troubleshooter extraordinaire - no problem too big or small to conquer
- A collaborative team player, with great communication skills and an upbeat, can-do attitude
- Proficient in Google Suite. Tech savvy enough to quickly learn our content management systems and related software
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team environment where priorities can shift quickly
- Curious - not afraid to ask questions, with a desire to grow and learn within the culinary department and within the company

Compensation
this position is: salaried, $50,000 - $75,000
