Company description
Sun Circle Farm is a intensive Certified Organic woman-owned and run farm in beautiful Palmer, Alaska. 2021 will be our 11th year in production. We grow multiple successions of vegetable and flower crops on about 2 1/2 acres including several high tunnels. We use techniques such as crop rotation and year-long fallow, green manure and cover crops, and innovative small ag tools and techniques like occultation, flame weeding, and minimal tillage, all with an eye to soil health as the basis of our success.
Our produce is offered through a small CSA, two large weekend markets in Anchorage, a thriving Farm Stand, and sales to a local restaurant. We strive for a positive, supportive work environment with plenty of opportunity for on-the-job learning and time for weekly yoga sessions.
