Job description

The HostMobile Program Manager acts as an ambassador of Project Host and is responsible for operating HostMobile, our food truck, and for teaching a six - week curriculum of advanced techniques to selected graduates of the CC Pearce Culinary School as paid interns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Managing and conducting entirety of service for all booked events on the food truck.
• Food truck menu development, planning, and execution.
• Catering menu development, planning, and execution.
• Overall maintenance, both interior and exterior, of food truck including all food service equipment, as well as, vehicle maintenance in coordination with office manager.
• Providing excellent customer service to all clients prior to, during and after all events
• Following all PH protocols, check lists, and event lists
• Working in coordination with Program Manager to increase paid bookings
• Managing and conducting entirety of all free services
• Coordinating with Program Manager to ensure food availability for all free services
• Ensuring DHEC compliance on food truck at all times
• Qualifying as and serving as a Servsafe Proctor
• Working with culinary interns following PH’s 6-week curriculum
• Providing hands on training to culinary interns
• Coordinating scheduling for culinary interns
• Overall culinary support for all PH events
• Attending staff meetings, and maintaining shared online calendar
• Assisting with social media efforts on an ongoing basis by sharing pictures of food, interns, and outreach with the Director of Development on a weekly basis
• Maintaining an orderly and clean workspace both on food truck and in office area
• Participating in weekly meetings with Programs Director.

• Performing other duties as assigned by the Programs Director.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
