Job description
America's oldest general store is looking for a manager! Davoll's General Store (built 1793), in historic Russells Mills, South Dartmouth, MA, is reopening in June 2021 with a local green grocer, garden center, independent bookstore, and farm-to-table eatery -- along with the regular dry goods and hand-dipped candles! A local brewery, beaches, and organic farms are some of the gems in this hidden community at the base of Cape Cod.
This is a full-time position. The Store Manager will run all day-to-day operations, manage inventory. The Manager will oversee a store Assistant, meet local farmers and suppliers for deliveries, and help organize and shelve. The Manager will be able to work part of every day behind the register. Davoll's opens at 7am.
Requirements
Because the Store will serve beer and wine, the Manager must be at least 21 years of age, have retail management experience, and have strong organization and planning skills.
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $50,000 - $75,000
