Company description
Sub Rosa Bakery is wood fired bakery and stone milling operation located in the historic Church Hill neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia. We work directly with farmers to source most of our produce and with regional farmers to source wheat, rye, and corn for our breads and pastries. We are part of a movement to recreate a local grain economy and are committed to offering the highest quality we can to our community. Throughout the pandemic we have remained open by utilizing online ordering for pick up outside the front door of the bakery. While we miss serving the neighborhood as a communal gathering spot, we will wait to reopen our dining area once our team agrees that it is prudent to do so.
