Little Sesame CPG Operations Manager

YOUR MISSION
This is an opportunity to lead a new wing of a fast growing, ambitious company. The Operations Manager for Little Sesame CPG will oversee the manufacturing of our products towards the goals of ensuring the highest quality while maintaining and increasing profitability.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
The person most suited for this position will strive for excellence in every area listed, as well as additional responsibilities as are deemed necessary for a growing, entrepreneurial spirited business.
- Product Manufacturing Management
- Ensure products are produced according to company quality standards in coordination with the Director of Product
- Hire & schedule production team
- Train employees to follow and fulfill these processes
- Develop, meet, and exceed yield, productivity, and labor cost targets
- Manage P&L for CPG production
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement
- Food Safety
- Ensure critical food safety procedures and documentation requirements are fulfilled on a daily basis
- Warehousing & Logistics
- Ensure accurate records of material (both raw material & finished goods) moving through the facility are kept
- Organization and cleanliness standards are upheld in the facilities
- Product is shipped accurately and on time to customers
- Maintain organized storage and inventory counts of all product and paper goods
- Planning
- Plan production in conjunction with Sales Manager to optimize order fulfillment
- Have an accurate grasp on current production capacity at all times.
- Purchasing
- Manage replenishment purchasing to ensure business continuity and optimize cash flow
- Team Membership
- Participation in leadership team meetings, providing status updates on projects & initiatives
HOURS AND COMPENSATION
This is a full time position; we offer a salary commensurate with experience and opportunity
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $50,000 - $75,000
