Bread Obsession is an independent bakery that specializes in baguettes, sourdoughs, and ryes. We use wonderful ingredients, time, and skill to make the best bread we can. Our loaves are hand-shaped, and leavened patiently to maximize flavor and beauty. We distribute our bread to specialty stores, groceries, and restaurants in our local area, as well as participate in farmers markets.

Job description

Do you love to bake but want to take it to the next level? Come learn to bake the best baguettes in town with the crack team at Bread Obsession.

All our bakers learn the entire bread-baking process from preparing dough, shaping and baking loaves to maintaining sourdough starters. It is an opportunity for a self-starter to learn new skills.

Five days a week including Saturday or Sunday.

We are looking for a talented baker who is energetic and hard-working. Prior bread baking experience a plus. Must be able to lift 50 lb.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
