Job description

As a line cook you will be working in a small, semi-open kitchen, doing prep work in addition to line orders. Some basic responsibilities include:

• Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Ensuring food comes out in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Maintaining a clean and organized work space
• Assisting with putting away deliveries and rotating stock
• Breaking down the kitchen at the end of service

Our ideal candidates:

• Have at least 1 year of cooking in restaurants, but we are always willing to train the right person
• Are detail oriented, organized, and keep a clean work station

• Exhibit friendly and respectful attitude towards coworkers and guests

• Communicate well and thrive in a team environment

• Are self motivated and comfortable working in a fast paced setting

• Have passion for food and creativity

• Must be legal to work in the U.S.
• Having a NYC Food Handlers card is a huge plus

Pay rate for line cooks starts at $15-16/hour ($20-24/hour after tips!)

Full time + part time positions available.
