Company description
Natoora is committed to revolutionizing the supply of fruit & vegetables and actively shaping the future of food for the better. We have spent over ten years connecting capital cities with flavors that would otherwise be lost forever. Delivering truly seasonal produce to over 1300 restaurants in London, New York, Paris and Milan, we count amongst our customers some of the world’s most influential chefs.
We also actively seek to re-educate the way people think about and consume fruit & vegetables. Our goal is to create a more meaningful and responsible food system that preserves seed varieties, growing techniques and traditions that are threatened by modern industrial farming and supermarket culture.
Job description
We are seeking a bright, versatile Content Manager to build out our regional presence in the US. Reporting to the Head of Brand in London, you will take the lead on the end-to-end creation of newsletter, web and social media content in NYC. This role is based in our Brooklyn office. With the aim to educate both home consumers and inspire top chefs to shape a better food system, you'll be driven by a passion for incredible food and the desire to have a real impact.
A confident content manager - ideally with a knack for photography - you’ll manage the production of creative assets and how these are translated across our different platforms. This will mean working closely with our sourcing team to write accurate, hyper-seasonal content that will inform the menus of some of the world’s top kitchens as well as resonate with home cooks. You will be a confident researcher and eager to get to the point; you will hone in on the details that matter rather than filler adjectives or buzzwords.
Impeccably organized and a great communicator, this role also encompasses community management, influencer marketing, as well as some essential reporting and analytics. Starting with a particular focus on our home delivery service, you will identify opportunities to raise awareness of the service and create meaningful partnerships with aligned brands while also growing our Radicals membership program.
Driven by a genuine interest in farming, sustainable food systems and the hospitality industry, this role has the potential to define our brand strategy in the States for the long term: from processes to people, from creative to culture, this is your chance to make a real difference and become the voice of our revolution, adapting our messages so that they resonate at a local level.
With a minimum of 3 years of content management behind you and proven experience in copy and photography, you'll be joining a fiercely creative team on a mission to revolutionise the food system. If you have what it takes to grow a grassroots movement that will shape the future of food for the better, apply now with your resume and cover letter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the US editorial calendar, working closely with the rest of the Brand team to develop assets as well as coming up with fresh ideas for NYC-specific content.
- Raise awareness of our home delivery service through a combination of tailored content marketing, influencer pushes, events and digital campaigns.
- Manage social media and digital newsletter content, from copywriting through to tracking.
- Create and manage a comprehensive library of product and sourcing photography, adding to it over the course of the season.
- Actively engage in conversation with our US community in a way that reflects the Natoora mission and ethos, seizing on opportunities to develop new partnerships with our wholesale customers and other aligned partners.
About You:
- You have 3+ years of Content Management behind you, with specific experience planning and managing email marketing and social media campaigns.
- You have a real affinity for clear copy and consumer-facing communication - with pitch perfect sensitivity to tone and never a typo.
- You are confident using MailChimp, Survey Monkey, SquareSpace.
- You know how to set up reporting tools and make the most of analytics.
- You have a track record of working effectively with creatives and production teams to deliver engaging content to tight schedules.
- You know your way around a DSLR and have experience using Adobe Lightroom.
- Ideally you’ve dabbled in Adobe Indesign and Photoshop.
- Strong planning skills essential, as well as an ability to display flexibility in the face of external factors.
