Job description
Chef de Cuisine
We are looking for a creative, responsible working Chef to oversee the management of the kitchen. A chef that has a passion for Farm to Table cuisine, and has a professional and friendly team spirit.
Responsibilties
- Create a professional, positive and healthy work environment.
- Menu Development and execution.
- Supervise all kitchen operations in a professional and friendly manner.
- Oversee and assist with food prep and service including cooking on the line and expediting.
- Responsible for Food ordering, Food Cost, Food Handling and Quality Control.
- Maintain high sanitation practice and cleanliness.
- Assist in Kitchen staff hiring and scheduling.
- Work with FOH management to execute smooth and timely dinner and lunch services.
- Develop relationships with local farmers and purveyours to provide fresh, interesting and delicious cuisine.
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $50,000 - $75,000
