StoneRoot Field & Sea seeks Farmers Market Sales Associates who can work Saturdays in Oakland, CA and/or Sundays in San Rafael, CA. Typical shifts are from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. This position is great for people who love seafood, meat, cooking, selling and teaching! The work environment is outdoors year-round. Our customers are AMAZING and love our company, our team and our food.
The position includes a respectable amount of physical effort. We move all day and frequently lift up to 50 pounds at a time. This position is well-suited for people who enjoy selling, interacting with other people and paying close attention to detail. Our goals are to: 1) quickly and efficiently setup a beautiful space; 2) delight and nourish high volumes of customers with our of magnificent proteins; 3) maintain the high quality look and feel of the stand from start to finish; and 4) breakdown the stand smoothly and efficiently at the end of the shift, ensuring that all remaining products are well cared for. Safety is a top priority.

We fish from Monterey, CA all the way up to Sitka, AK. We specialize in Wild King Salmon, Wild Coho Salmon, Wild Spot Prawns, Wild Pacific Halibut and Wild Dungeness crab. All of our seafood is hand-caught using both hook and line gear as well as small, individual bottom traps. Most of our seafood is also Sashimi-Grade, which means that it's safe to eat raw.
We also offer a delicious selection of "value-added products" including Uncured Rustic Bacon and a variety of pork and beef sausages.

We operate thriving stands at Bay Area Farmers Markets each weekend. We're also launching a new Online Division, a Catering Division, an Events Division and a Wholesale Retail Division!
