Oxford Farms is a 130 acre regenerative farm. We raise 100 % grass fed beef and lamb as well as pasture raised chicken. We have a small market garden and three greenhouses. We follow
organic practices but also use practices that increase biodiversity and treat the farm as an ecosystem. Just 15 minutes outside 2nd largest city in New England....Worcester. The vegetable operation is new for us this year. We also plan to add laying hens.
Job description
Small diversified farm seeks individual with the following qualifications:
- 2 + years experience in organic small scale intensive vegetable growing
- Winter greenhouse growing experience
- Willing to work with livestock operations: cattle, sheep and chickens
- Willing to do landscape maintenance: triming fences, tree work
- Willing to cover weekend chores on a rotation with others
- Can work outside in all kinds of weather and do heavy work making vegetable beds and lifting 50 lb bags
Start immediately.
Salary commensurate with experience.
