Kargher Corporation, founded in 1977, is a primary manufacturer of baking chocolate and chocolate nonpareils. We operate a BRC certified manufacturing facility in Hatfield Pennsylvania.
Kargher is a small family owned and operated chocolate manufacturer. We are organic certified by PCO, Fair Trade Certified by Fair Trade USA. We are proud to say that all of our customers have come to us through word of mouth. We place emphasis on ethically sourcing our ingredients. We recycle and for many years have worked with a local farmer sharing our rework.
Job description
Kargher is looking for a highly motivated Quality Assurance Technician to add to our team. If you are dedicated, energetic and detail oriented, this could be the perfect role for you.
As a Quality Assurance Technician at Kargher specific duties include but are not limited to assisting in the execution of all quality systems for compliance with the Food Safety Modernization act (FSMA), FDA, GMP, HACCP, HARPC, BRC, customer, food safety and third-party audit requirements. Management of all controlled documentation, including the creation, collaboration and control of SOP’s, COA’s and other forms. Managing customer complaints including documentation, investigation and analysis, associated corrective actions and response to the customer. Monitoring all quality assurance programs including daily inspection of incoming materials and the quality of our manufactured products. Presence in the production area overseeing safe food manufacturing, plant maintenance and other areas of manufacturing

Job requirements include a bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry, agriculture or nutrition or equivalent work experience. Have a demonstrated history in large scale food manufacturing. Knowledge of and experience with HACCP, FSMA, SQF or BRC Food Safety audits. Ability to maintain and generate a cohesive food quality program in line with current BRC food safety standards.
Proficiency in the use of the computer and related software is required
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
