Company description
Do Right is farming two acres of certified organic flowers at the northwestern tip of Santa Cruz County, California on unceded Awaswas Territory. We primarily produce flowers for florists in the Monterey and San Francisco Bay Areas, while also supplying bouquets to a small CSA membership and local grocery stores. Additionally, we provide our own florist services for weddings. Our production is geared towards diverse varieties, less typically seen in large scale flower production. We have a quickly growing collection of perennials, a large dahlia selection, and annuals.
Do Right was started at the end of 2020 by Kelly Brown, who learned flower growing and selling through their many years of experience working in flowers at a nearby farm. As a queer non-binary person, Kelly aims to create a farm that celebrates the engagement of others who are underrepresented in farming. Do Right's atmosphere is that of learning and growing with lots of opportunity for gaining new production flower farming skills.
