Job description

Cashier/Server/Host

The position generally covers most front-of-house duties. In, addition there are many opportunities for expansion of the role in creative endeavors. These can include collaborating in curating special dishes, collaborating in interior design and art curation, social media and promotional content management, product sourcing, and more. Our staff love to come together on ideas, and input is encouraged from all parties.

Hours are generally 7am-3pm 5days a week. Part time positions also available.

While we do expect promptness, reliability and a strong work ethic, we also place high value on work/life balance. If a schedule is not to your liking, we will always be flexible in changing it. If you have an emergency and can't show up, we don't need details or proof, simply notice. We place very high emphasis on honesty and respect; you will be trusted to not need to be babysat.

Regular front-of-house duties include:
-Preparing tables for new parties
-Taking guests’ orders
-Filling drink orders and bringing drinks to the table
-Relaying customers’ orders to the kitchen
-Alerting the kitchen to any allergies
-Providing customers with their meals
-Bringing food from the kitchen to the table
-Making menu recommendations
-Accepting payment and making change for customers
-Preparing and portioning condiments, drinks, and wares
-Cleaning

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
