Company description
Stissing House is the twentieth oldest tavern in America, dating from 1782. Clare de Boer, owner and chef of King Restaurant in New York City, has re-opened this historic restaurant in March 2022. The food and hospitality will follow the lead of the charming farmhouse style building: generous, local, simply prepared, with ample use of the restaurant’s legendary wood-burning hearth. The main restaurant seats up to 50 guests, while the overall building includes two fireplace lounge areas, a second story for events, and a deli/shop area. The property also includes a two-acre garden for outdoor dining.
