Job description
Jasper Hill is looking for a relationship builder who can proactively engage with all levels of the organization and embrace our Mission and Core Values in everyday activities and align with our culture to best support our employees and business needs as we grow. The Human Resource (HR) Director will be entrepreneurial-minded and will lead and direct the routine functions of the department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. The HR Director will have strong time management/organization skills, the ability to re-prioritize mid-project and communicate effectively in a professional manner, and will directly report to the Executive Team.
Core Duties & Responsibilities

Partners with the leadership team to understand Jasper Hill human resource and talent strategy as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning

Provides support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise

Supports the creation of learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Plan and deliver onboarding to deliver an exceptional new employee experience.

Timely distribution of information on the company’s benefits package to all eligible employees, monitor pending enrollments and provide follow up to verify completion

Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

Required Skills:

A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Strong Interpersonal skills in person and over the phone required

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

Ability to handle personnel situations with tact, and in compliance with state and federal laws required
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $50,000 - $75,000
