Startup gluten-free bread baking business seeks a baker's apprentice for immediate hire.
Our incredible products are well on their way to becoming the very best gluten-free bread available in the marketplace. With the right candidate's help, Free Bread will at last redefine gluten-free bread.
Woman-owned-and run Free Bread Inc. will soon become New York City's source for the very best gluten free bread-- we bake and deliver fresh and frozen gluten-free bread rolls, baguettes, and hamburger buns to restaurants, retail markets and coffee shops all over the city's five boroughs.
We're looking for a fearless, dedicated individual to take on a 3 month apprenticeship, who possesses the folowing talents:
1. Production: Our ideal candidate has experience baking yeasted breads, but a great work and life ethic and true willingness to learn can make anyone a great baker. We work with milled ancient grains and tight deadlines-- please be quick on your feet and comfortable with baker's hours (EARLY MORNINGS)
2. Sales: the ability to represent Free Bread and its wonderful breads at weekend/holiday markets and at retailer demos.
3. Jack-of-all-trades: Clean-up, social media posting, research, costing, marketing & PR, Delivering, Picking up, etc.
Once the three month apprenticeship has ended, our candidate will receive a small bonus plus the opportunity to become the head baker. Stamina & creativity required.
