Company description East Durham Farms is a traditional farm so we raise a small herd of cows, about a dozen pigs, a few hundred eggs layers and broilers in season. Our goal is to supply all the farm products needed in our on farm store. We grow 1.5 acres of mixed organic vegetables and have a 30 x 96 high tunnel that we utilize year round.   In addition to the above, we have a cut flower garden, one acre apple and peach orchard and a half acre of blueberry bushes. -We sell our farm produced meats, vegetables and fruits through our farm store located in our historic rehabilitated barn.  Your responsibility will be to assist customers in the farm store. This will include greeting customers, assisting with purchases and checking them out.
-When customers are not present there will be stocking, creating picking orders and cleaning of the store. 
-When there are no customers and the store is stocked and cleaned you will be asked to assist with gathering of farm produce, fruits and flowers.
-This is a seasonal position. Hours vary but are primarily 9-6 Friday through Sunday. Compensation is $15.00-$16.00 an hour depending on experience. We operate as a farm family so farm provided meals will be provided at times. A current drivers license is required.
