Internship description
We are looking for a harvest intern to help pick and process 6 acres of estate grown vinifera. The position is full time during the 2+ months of harvest with potential for some overtime. Position is open 15 Aug and will finish 25 Oct(dates approx).
Responsibilities will include preparing the vineyard for picking, helping with the pick, processing fruit, monitoring fermentation, barrel preparation, etc. The whole process from vine to barrel you will experience and be a part of.
We will be looking for someone full time starting in the new year for a vineyard-centric position for interested parties that may be qualified.
Compensation is $15-18 per hour depending on experience.
Must be: clean, reliable, dedicated, hard working, detail oriented, able to work in the heat, lift up to 50lbs, work longer days on pick days, and be genuinely interested in learning and doing a good job.
