Job description

As a Goods-In Warehouse Operative, you’ll be a part of a dynamic, responsive team that is driving real change at ground level. You will have a key role in ensuring the quality and care of our produce. This is a full-time position where your shifts will be from 6am to 3pm, 5 days a week. The job requires primarily working in a refrigerated environment at around 38 degrees- we will supply you with PPE.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and cross check Purchase orders for incoming pallets from various vendors

  • Accurately weigh, record, and batch code incoming shipments

  • Rotate ‘Use First’ product into location based on FIFO

  • Moving and rearranging stock, either by hand or with heavy lifting equipment

  • Cleaning old batches of product

You

  • Highly skilled and certified forklift operator

  • Strong knowledge of Fresh Produce in a wholesale setting

  • Positive communication skills

  • Strong understanding of Julian Date, FIFO, Batch coding

  • You have a good attention to detail and quality

  • You are a natural team player

  • You are able to work under pressure in a time-constrained environment

  • You are willing to learn about our seasonal products and operational procedures

  • Vaccinated

  • Driver’s License is a plus

  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs
