Job description

The Rambling House in Woodlawn, Bronx is seeking for an enthusiastic and reliable cook for our grill station. This cook will work as a team player in a fast-paced Irish-American restaurant and sports bar serving classic pub grub, as well as elevated fare.

We are looking for someone who is creative, wants to contribute menu ideas, and has a sense of ownership for their station. This position is responsible for incoming tickets on the line, using the flat top, fryer and salamander oven. Dishes prepared by our grill cook include burgers, fajitas, pizzas, sandwiches and more.

We would like to fill this position immediately and are seeking someone who has a minimum of 3 years of experience in a cook-to-order kitchen, and able to prioritize and work across multiple tickets at once. We are looking for someone with good references who is on-time and dependable.

A current NYC Board of Health Certificate is a plus.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $18.00 - $22.00
