Job description

We are building a team of entrepreneurial, curious people who want to help us grow Jow in the US. Working alongside our talented food team - just head to @jow_us on Instagram to see what they’re capable of! - our strategy & content leads, and our entire French team, we’re looking for a creative, enthusiastic, hacky community mastermind, who can really own the Jow community and grow it. 

You will be the voice of our service and the eyes and ears for the brand; always ready to identify new engagement opportunities. 

You will be the subject-matter expert on all things social - you will coordinate teams, content production, etc. around great, on brand content.

You’re humble and curious, and don’t take yourself too seriously, but also get super excited about new projects and love to dive into your work. 

 

What you’ll do:

You will be expected to: 

• Own posting on our various social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, Meta, Pinterest), which includes creating some content yourself and collaborating with our Studio & Food teams for the rest 
• Take an active role in and manage Jow’s Facebook/Meta Group 
• Engage with customers across our various channels (in the comments sections, etc.)  
• Attend weekly meetings to engage with team members, review weekly performance, brainstorm creative ideas, and sync on initiatives 
• Take on other related duties as assigned 

 

Skills we’re looking for:

• You MUST have a social presence - please share it in your application
• 1+ year in social media, community engagement or similar job
• You’re savvy with your computer & phone, and naturally curious 
• You love food
• You love social media, and enjoy knowing about the latest trends - especially food ones! 
• You love communicating with others and people have described you as friendly, a good listener, and a supportive friend 
• You love to learn and are constantly looking for ways to optimize what you do
• You love data and are a meticulous worker - attention to detail is a must! 
• English is your native language 
• You think dad jokes are funny and might even have a few of your own up your sleeve and you're comfortable being in front of the camera
• You’re happy working fully remotely 

 

Bonus points (but not required!): 

• You can understand/speak some French (our HQ is in Paris and you’ll have a lot of French coworkers!) and/or Spanish 
• You care about sustainability & climate change
• You are confident in the kitchen

The hiring salary range for this position applies to the US as a whole, with the expectation that you will be fully remote or hybrid if based in New York (we have a temporary working space in New York). Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, and training.
