Job description
Kitchenette’s Marketing & Community Manager will work directly with our founder to launch Kitchenette in the Santa Barbara area. This exciting role offers a true start-up experience: working with a small team across a variety of activities and functions to launch and scale a brand-new business!
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with partners in the community (businesses, schools, influencers, etc) and manage partnership programs
- Manage social media accounts: post content on social media channels, and engage with community to support
- Plan and host events, including pop-ups and dinners, as well as tabling at community events
- Own customer service, including proactive customer outreach to gather feedback and communicate it to the team so we can continue to improve our product and service
- Support other communications efforts as needed including PR and email
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a marketing or community management role
- Familiarity with all marketing channels mentioned above; expertise in a few
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable with Google Sheets and other Google Workspace apps
- Passion for customer experience
- Flexibility & growth mindset – we are an early-stage startup with a lot of moving pieces!
- Personal vehicle available to drive during working hours (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Smartphone available to use for work
The Details
- Role will be full-time; we are looking for an employee with flexibility in their schedule to support evening and weekend events when needed
- Salary will be $65,000-85,000 depending on experience, with mileage reimbursement provided for travel required for work purposes
Compensation
this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $650.00 - $850.00
