Company description
Jameson Ranch Camp was founded in 1934 and is located on a 500 acre ranch in Glennville, California. The property borders the Sequoia National Forest and is approximately 150 miles north of Los Angeles. We are a traditional, rustic sleep-away camp for children ages 6-16.
We offer four two-week sessions during the summer, beginning in mid-June and ending in early August. Campers stay for two, four, six and even eight weeks and while most of them are from California, our campers come from all around the world!
Our mission is to guide young people to have better lives through the pleasure of working and playing together. JRC’s atmosphere encourages each individual’s potential to be expressed and expanded in a setting that values professionalism, wholesomeness, integrity, playfulness and the power of the natural environment to inspire children. Camp provides campers with role models that exemplify values of honesty, self-respect, and respect for others.
Camp provides a wide range of non-competitive programs for campers to choose. Some of these activities include horseback riding, mountain biking, archery, drama, arts and crafts, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, fishing, ziplining and many more! Involvement with these programs encourages life-long learnables like motivation and a sense of accomplishment!
