Bee Wild is a 3-generation family owned and operated honeybee farm in Gainesville Georgia. We specialize in doing small seasonal batches of our wild-crafted varietal honeys such as “Wildflower” and “Sourwood”.
We practice sustainable beekeeping and are proud members of 1% For The Planet. With that, we donate 1% of our annual revenue to organizations actively working to save the honeybee population.
Job descriptionAn opportunity to learn from a 2nd generation Beekeeper with 50 + years of beekeeping experience and wisdom. Perfect position for anyone interested in learning how to keep bees. We are looking for someone with the physical strength and endurance to be able to lift 50-80lbs hive boxes filled with honey.
We are looking for a beekeeper's assistant to help with the following farm activities:
-Hive Management - Visiting the apiaries and helping the beekeeper check on the status and health of each hive as well as the harvesting of honey.
-Honey Extraction - Collecting honey from the hives and extracting it at our farm.
-Honey Packing- After the honey is collected we pack, label, and box it at our farm.
We are looking for a beekeeper's assistant to help with the following farm activities:

Timing - The busy time of year for us and when we have the most work hours to offer is April - September but we will still have some work hours available during the off season for honey packing and some hive management.
