Job description

As a pastry assistant you will be working in our bakery. Your responsibilities will encompass pastry production for items such as pies, tarts, pastries, cookies, and cakes. You will also be responsible for proper rotation of product and setting up/refilling the front pastry case. We are flexible with hours and can potentially meet your needs concerning in and out times. Professional baking experience is required but it does not need to have been in a bakery. We are looking for someone who can take direction but is confident in the field, a team player who can rally with our kick booty baking team to get the needed tasks done, who likes to work in a kind, respectful, and time efficient work environment.

Desirable Skills (but not necessary):
- cake decorating
- volume baking

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $20.00 - $28.00
