Company description Tonoloway farm is a forest farm focused on the sustainable production of forest foods, namely tree syrups (maple, black walnut, hickory, and sycamore), mushrooms, garlic and wasabi. The farm is located on the steep and wooded slopes of the Allegheny Mountains in the central Appalachians. The aim of the farm is to produce nourishing food that thrives naturally in its environment, while fostering diversity and sound ecology. The farm is becoming well-known as the leading producer of black walnut syrup in North America. Job description The seasonal market attendant will represent Tonoloway Farm at the Saturday IX market in downtown Charlottesville or Grow RVA market in Richmond, VA. Responsibilities include: booth setup and disassembly, customer service, including the ability to talk about production processes, money handling using the Square POS app, inventory management and communication, and fulfilling IX market administrative requirements.
