Company description
Basalt Mountain Gardens is a small-scale homestead and teaching site rooted in coherence agriculture - a relationship based approach to farming focused on herbalism, and community food culture. We cultivate vegetables, culinary and healing herbs, fruit and flowers using organic, homeodynamic and biodiversity-minded practices, honoring soil, water, and plant health.
Each summer we host a handful of small tours, workshops, and garden gatherings that blend education, hospitality, and connection to the land. These events introduce guests to coherence agriculture, herbal craft, and seasonal eating in an intimate, welcoming setting.
Basalt Mountain Gardens is rooted in family, stewardship, and local relationships and reflects a belief that good food, thriving soil, and community wellbeing are deeply interconnected.
