Making matcha is all about the highest level of integrity, recipe mastery, and the energy to showcase your creations. We are looking for caring, emotionally mature, and diligent prep chefs to join our growing team.

Matchaful is committed to offering healthy, plant-based offerings and a serene environment to enjoy a beautiful cup of matcha. We respect the art of Japanese matcha making, while bringing awareness around wellness through all of our adaptogenic ingredients.

As Matchaful’s Prep Chef, you will be responsible for helping with the preparation of our in-house food offerings, making our vegan soft serve, meticulously prepping our food items, keeping the space clean and working directly with our Culinary Manager. You will be responsible for following our in-house recipes, parfaits, and other food items. You’ll be responsible for keeping the kitchen organized and clean.

Lots of growth opportunities exist as Matchaful expands our product offerings and cafe footprint this year!

3-4 days/week minimum commitment

Job requirements:
2+ years of kitchen related experience
Culinary school education is a plus (but not necessary)
