What We’re Looking For:
In support of our 2030 goal, that all children have access to food education and nourishing meals in school, FoodCorps is growing its partnership offerings for K-12 school districts around the country. Our new set of programs will build from the success of our well-known AmeriCorps service program and provide tools, resources, and services that extend our reach and impact to more students, districts, and partners.
To pilot this programming we are seeking a Director of Consulting to design and implement this new area of work for FoodCorps. This person will be responsible for designing a set of launch products and services which will include professional development products and courses for education and school nutrition customers, and consulting services for school districts. The ideal candidate will have experience building and managing an education sales pipeline; designing, building and pricing new products and services; hiring and managing a small team of in-house and contract trainers and consultants; and extensive experience leading consulting engagements. We are seeking someone who will enjoy the challenge of creating this new area of impact for FoodCorps and is comfortable or ready to work in a mission driven organization. This role reports to the Vice President of Impact Operations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of staff and consultants
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline of consulting and services customers
- In collaboration with the Impact Operations and Impact Programs departments, lead the development of new products and services including supporting materials to be used in consulting and training engagements
- Develop the sales strategy and workflow. With support from the Marketing and Communications team, lead the development of supporting sales materials
- In collaboration with the Evaluation team, determine the critical metrics and objectives to be used to measure progress and success of your team and its impact on schools
- Over time, evolve the products and services offered based on the needs of school district customers
- As needed, develop partnerships with other companies or organizations to improve or expand products and services
