Norwegian Baked was founded 7 years ago and we have since enjoyed a continuously growing customer base with stores nationwide carrying our crispbread.
Job description
We are seeking a team member who is motivated and reliable. The duties will include portioning and weighing product, packaging product, sealing and labeling packaging, packaging units in cases, preparing products for shipments, and help out with the end-of-the-day clean-up and closing; cleaning of baking equipment, trays, workstations, and facility.
The ideal candidate is:
Detail-oriented and reliable with a passion for teamwork, must share our high standards for the final product, and interested in contributing to our growing small-batch bakery.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen preferred (but not required)
- Basic understanding of food safety guidelines
- Attentive to detail
- Ability to carry out multi-step procedures with an increasing level of efficiency
- Ability to work independently and within a small team
- Reliability and willingness to take initiative when needed
- Ability to stand for hours while working
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
The position is part-time, 3 days per week, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Hours: 11am - 7pm.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
