We are looking for full time and partime cookie sales people/ baristas/BOH ! $17-$20 depending on experience, plus tips (tips are shared equally between FOH and BOH employees). Evening, morning and weekend shifts available!!! Shifts available are in East Harlem and our NEW LOCATION opening in June in the West Village.

Needed (a tiny bit flexible but these are basically the days and chunks of time that need coverage):

Shift 1 (FOH): Friday: 1pm-10pm, Sat: 8:15am-2pm, Sunday: 8:15am-2pm Mon: 8:15-4:15pm

Shift 2 (Floater, you'll do some FOH and some BOH depending on what is needed: Friday-Sun 4pm-12am

Shift 3 FOH : Sun-Weds: 9am-6:30pm

Shift 4 FOH: Thurs- Sat: 9 am- 6:30pm

Shift 5 FOH: Sat-Tues: 6pm- 12am

Shift 6 FOH: Weds- Sat: 6pm- 12am

Responsibility for FOH/ Baristas include:

MUST HAVE FOOD HANDLERS LICENSE OR BE WILLING TO GET IT ASAP!

• greet patrons and serve them cookies and coffee
• Must have knowledge about the products we serve and company background.
• Prep work for beverage service, keep cold brew, iced tea and other beverages stocked.
• Keep FOH organized
• Load cookies from sheet pans to display case or appropriate jars
• Package and label any items that are being sold FOH
• Work with back of house to appropriately change the menu to reflect any daily specials or items that are out of stock
• Make bakery boxes during slower hours so that they are prepped for busier hours.
• Willing to lend a hand on slower days to BOH such as labeling boxes, doing light administrative work such as inventory or ordering.
• Not hesitant to step in and help with other tasks when necessary.
• Take FOH inventory

Responsibilities for Bakers include:

- Getting production started for the FOH first thing in the morning. Place prepped cookies in the oven asap, laying out balls of cookie dough on sheet pans.

• Learning our specific techniques and following recipe instructions.
• Doing prep work to set the rest of the team up for the day. ( cutting out discs of pie crusts, scooping fillings onto par baked pie crust cookie discs, prepping dough, sheeting dough)
• breaking apart sheets of cookies to be packed or sent to front of house.
• Preparing trays of cookies that need to be sent to FOH
• Washing the sheet pans and bowls that are used during shifts.
• Helping with a deep clean at the end of shift.
• Following and assisting Kitchen Manager in all areas of production,
• Be comfortable to lead production a few days a week
• Properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene.
• Washing and appropriately storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes
• Assisting with the picking up, and unloading of delivered food supplies.
• Organizing and correctly storing food supplies.
