Company description The Dorset Union Store is a landmark Vermont general store located on The Green in the center of Dorset; a small Vermont town nestled between the peaks of the Taconic & Green Mountains.  Dorset Union is one of the oldest country stores in the U.S., continuously serving Dorset and surrounding communities since 1816.  The Store features both local Vermont products and curated gourmet products on our retail floor; we have one of best selections of wine available in the State; and we have a bustling scratch prepared kitchen, catering business and bakery.  We feature local produce in our daily production and we incorporate as many local and farm direct products as possible. We are looking for the right individual to work with our lead baker to produce Dorset Union's amazing from-scratch cookies, cakes, pies etc. We have a creative, fast-paced, production kitchen team that works together to create great food and provide outstanding customer service. This position requires someone who has experience with commercial baking equipment and ovens, as well as an eye for detail and presentation.
