Job description Native Candy is looking for a superstar, self-motivated, culturally conscious, friendly, outgoing Salmon selling guru to help run our Seattle based farmers market booths. This position is looking to hire now!

Pay $16.50-18/hr DOE

Where: Columbia City Farmers Market (Wed 1:30-7:30pm through October), Bellevue Farmers Market (Thursdays 1:30-7:30pm Through September), University District/Issaquah Farmers Market (Saturdays 7:30am-3pm) West Seattle/Capitol Hill Farmers Market (Sundays 7:30am-3pm)

Sales associates need to pick up product at a specified location before the markets and then proceed to the market. Driving time is paid.

Duties include booth set up/break down, inventory/stock management, market sales, and consumer education about tribal fisheries and salmon. The way we care for our Salmon and how it is caught, as well as other social issues related to Salmon in the Pacific Northwest are very important to us, and we will require staff to understand our core values in order to continue to represent Native Candy. Duties will also include local deliveries for larger orders.

Required Qualifications:
- Be able to lift heavy coolers (up to 75lbs)
- have a valid drivers license and a vehicle large enough to carry market setup
- current food handlers card for WA
- ability to work with minimal supervision
- ability to run markets in compliance with health department and market requirements

Desired Qualifications:
- Good at Sales and love it!
- self motivated and attention to detail
- understanding of tribal fishing laws and local tribal history
- understanding of Salmon life cycle and species

HOURS/SALARY/WAGE
Hours worked for each market depend on the market hours. $16.50-18/hour DOE plus sales incentives and guaranteed pay raise after 3 months.
