Tivoli Mushrooms is a farm and distributor focusing on cultivated and foraged mushrooms. We are currently growing into our new facility in Hillsdale where we plan on adding to our current substrate program.

Join our team and help us increase our production. We have recently moved into a new purpose built facility on our farm in Hillsdale, New York.

Our position has two distinctly different tasks.

Substrate production is the process of mixing growing media, bagging, and then pasteurizing. We use a variety of bi products from wood mills and grain and soy bi products. Join our team of two and help bring our substrate goals to the next level. You should enjoy physical work and be very detail focused as materials change constantly. It is a real art that takes time to master.

Laboratory team is the second half of the position. After producing substrate you will transition into our lab and inoculate the cooled substrate you produced the previous day. This will require an interest in working in a a-septic environment. This is a very repetitive job.

This is a very physical and detail oriented position that requires a lot of cleaning and repetition. If you enjoy cultivation and working in a team, this could be a perfect fit for you.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
