We operate a brick and mortar store in Cambridge, MA, and our spice blending studio, fulfillment center and warehouse is located in Winchester, MA. The primary role for our Wholesale Brand Ambassadors is to work closely with the Wholesale Manager to support our Wholesale partners. Wholesale Brand Ambassadors conduct tastings and demos at the wholesale partner locations and off-site events. We are seeking high energy, passionate individuals who will inspire customers to try our spices and purchase them from our wholesale partners. Curio Brand Ambassadors are responsible for delivering a uniquely educational and sensory experience to all customers while sampling our spices and offering exceptional customer service. Ongoing product knowledge and sales technique training will be provided to team members.

Position Type: Part-time, 24-30 hours/week (non-exempt, eligible for overtime beyond 40 hrs/week)

Schedule: Monday, Friday - Sunday

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Conduct Product Demos at Wholesale Partner locations and off site events  

1. 1. Travel to Curio retailers and conduct product demos.
   2. Attend Festivals and promotional events representing Curio Spice Company
   3. Maintain a demo kit with all the spices and supplies you need to conduct a successful off-site tasting
   4. Provide recaps of tastings and the Wholesale partners displays/inventory levels
   5. Prepare a basic snack for customer sampling (from repertoire of Curio recipes)
   6. Communicate cooking tips and Curio’s mission to customers
   7. Report mileage for reimbursement

General Responsibilities of Curio Employees

• Help maintain cleanliness of the facility by participating in assigned weekly cleaning duties
• Coordinate with staff and management to contribute to general facility maintenance opportunities
