Job description
BANQUET BRIDAL ATTENDANT
Reports To
The banquet bridal attendant will report to the captain or event manager.
Job Overview
To provide excellent customer service to couples on their wedding day. Will assist Wedding Planner with duties such as event set up and break down, event design, getting food/drinks for clients. Will help in the execution of a successful wedding.
The banquet bridal attendant job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities and Duties
- Keep the bride on schedule, make sure she has everything she needs to be comfortable and ready for each step of the day.
- Check all bridesmaids to ensure they all look uniform and are on schedule.
- Help pin flowers on the guests, parents and party attendants
- Transport any items for the attendants from the ceremony to the reception site
- Keep track of the pictures taken by the photographer if requested to
- Fix any last-minute emergencies
- Assist the ushers with greeting guests as they enter the ceremony site
- Help deliver the gifts to the bridal suite
- Perform general duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Being a banquet bridal attendant requires a high level of professionalism. Banquet bridal attendant are personable, offering great customer service to their guests. Employers usually look for candidates who have two years of experience working in bridal positions. In addition, employers look for the following skills and qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will possess a warm, friendly "can do" attitude and has worked in a fast-paced customer service environment.
- Excellent communication, grooming, time management, organizational skills required with a stable work history.
- Experience is necessary!
- Must be available to work Friday Saturday and Sunday, days and evenings
- Must be willing to work in both indoor and outdoor settings where varying weather and temperature conditions can be expected.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
