We are searing for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Full-Tim Winery Tasting Room Host. We are seeking a person who will posse previous hospitality experience and superior customer service skills.

Job description

• This position entails commissions, bonuses and room to advance forward to extend your responsibilities at the Winery. Weekends and some holidays are required.
• This position offers a great opportunity to learn every facet of the wine industry. It entails weekend hosting and educating our guest about our wines while building our tasting room and wine club business.
• This position does offer full benefits after the probation period has been met. This includes Health, Dental, Vision, 401k matching program and paid vacation.

Duties of this Position

• Provide outstanding customer service to all guest while describing the wines, winemaking techniques and winery history to guest.
• Cultivate long term relationships with customers and club members to keep the coming back.
• Be comfortable asking for the sale and having the ability to operate cash registers / POS systems
• Answering incoming phone calls, assist and maintain stock of clean wine glasses, buffing glasses and bussing tables.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Tasting Room Manager

Qualifications & Skills

• Having some background and knowledge of the wine industry to educate and talk with people.
• Computer literacy, self-starter, clear communicator, positive team player and a multi-tasker.
• Must be highly motivated, independent, yet able to take direction.
• 1-3 years retail sales, food & beverage service and / or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time. Driver's license required to fulfill job duties.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
