Job description
Role Classification: Part-time Exempt, Seasonal
We’re seeking a highly organized, experienced Regional Demo Production Manager to contribute to and support the multifaceted launch of Row 7’s line of branded organic vegetables. The Regional Demo Production Manager’s primary role will be to support the Executive Experience Producer in executing and managing a food demonstration and experience program across 40+ Whole Foods locations across the Boston area. You will be responsible for supporting all facets of the program, including hiring and managing in-store staffing, implementing a food production and distribution plan, and creating and carrying out an engaging and educational experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience in food & beverage events (and/or retail food demo experience), a passion for food and agriculture, and an extensive network of potential brand educators in the Boston area.
Responsibilities:
- Support Executive Producer in managing a comprehensive plan for tasting demo programs and experiences at 35+ Whole Food Market (WFM) locations across the Boston area
- Support in recruiting and managing Brand Educators for the Boston area program
- Support in managing and organizing administrative paperwork and accounting for Brand Educators
- Act as on-site lead at Boston area kitchen to receive, organize and distribute demonstration kits
- Support Brand Educators in program setup, breakdown, and logistics
- Support Executive Producer in monitoring program progress, troubleshooting issues, and making adjustments as necessary to ensure the success of each demonstration
- Coordinate with Executive Experience Producer to maintain quality checks across all locations
- Coordinate with Brand Educators to ensure all food preparation and tastings comply with applicable health, safety, and legal regulations
- Support in collecting and analyzing program data, providing post-program reports and insights to inform future program strategies and initiatives
Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in food & beverage programmatic and event production management, or retail food sampling programs
- Restaurant/kitchen management experience OR on-the-ground project management experience may be applicable
- Experience hiring, managing, and scheduling a large team of staff for events
- Experience coordinating food production in commercial/commissary kitchens is a huge plus
- Demonstrated success in working on large-scale, multi-location events
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Schedule
- DATES: August 1 - December 1, 2023, 16 weeks
- DAYS: Available on Friday, Saturday, Sunday August 12 - November 19
- 30 hours/week
Compensation
- part-time / seasonal salary starting at $1250/week
