Hotel Restaurant Manager for the Public House Restaurant at Urban Cowboy Lodge
The Urban Cowboy Lodge is looking for a Restaurant Manager to take on the role of leader, teammate, and creator. The Public House Restaurant is a highlight of the guest experience at the Lodge as well as a loved local watering hole. Our goal is to continue to grow our programs, create new ones, and do so while staying true to our natural surroundings, loyal to our local producers, and keeping the amazing guest experience in the wilderness as our top priority.

The Food and Beverage Director leads the food and beverage program side by side with the Executive Chef to maintain specifically our standards of quality, service and consistency, in line with overall brand standards and the guest experience offered throughout property.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the vision, leadership, and strategy that inspires your staff to deliver exceptional guest service that drives financial success
- Collaborate with hotel department leaders to define goals and objectives that are compatible with the overall hotel goals, as well as strategies for achieving them
- Keep on pace with provided budgets to maximize profit margins while keeping costs in balance with guest satisfaction and quality of services
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and management skills working with employees who have a variety of skill sets, fostering a team-oriented environment. Must be an Educator and Trainer.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to form innovative ideas, create a plan of action, and implement it
- Tremendous administrative skills to keep vendors paid, revenues accounted for, and expenses in check
- Able to work a flexible schedule in order to accommodate business levels; weekends, nights, and holidays required
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE THAT HAS:
- A desire to create one-of-a-kind experiences

- Experience in high volume, quality-oriented restaurant operations
- Strong food, wine and cocktail knowledge - previous experience working with natural wine and craft cocktails a strong plus
- Strong leadership and management skills working with a variety of employees at different skill levels and varied backgrounds fostering a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to innovate ideas, formulate a plan of action, and implement it
- Experience in purchasing specifications, pricing and quantity yields
- Ability to understand P&L statements, develop and adhere to budgets, and to track sales and purchasing in order to achieve desired margins
- Ability to communicate effectively with associates, management, clients and vendors
- Ability to be the true team leader of a large F&B program by creating a system and an environment that is built upon teamwork and the success of all members
- Ability to think ahead and plan for seasonality of outlets
