We are currently seeking to hire the following role:
- Social Media Coordinator: 30 hours per week, remote but must be local.
JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our social media accounts are the virtual public face of our markets. The Social Media Coordinator will take and edit photographs, write captions, shoot reels, create stories, design infographics and interact with the public on our eight markets' Instagram, Facebook and Google My Business accounts.
This position will work with our Director of Community Development to set goals, plan content calendars, and track engagement. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for staying up-to-date on social media trends, revising engagement strategy as necessary.
Job responsibilities will include monthly visits to each of our markets to photograph and get to know vendors, staff, and community. We strive to personalize content to each market community.
POSITION DETAILS
● Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week: 25 hours scheduling posts and writing copy, 3 hours on-site at markets; 1 hour tracking social media insights,1 hour graphic design in Canva.
● This is a remote position that will require travel to and from our market locations in LA & Orange County. The Social Media Coordinator will be expected to visit one market per/week to photograph and gather content for captions.

Qualifications & Skills
● Effective written and verbal communication
● Skilled photographer
● Excellent attention to detail
● Effective team player! Able to take direction and work independently
● Reliable access to computer, camera / smartphone, reliable internet connection
● Experience designing in CANVA
● Quick learner, able to work across multiple platforms: ZOHO Business Suite, Airtable, Google Suite, etc.
● Able to set goals, track progress
