We are woman owned, and have been leading the scene in recreational culinary education since 2006. business description The Brooklyn Kitchen is a small independent cooking school operating a kitchen studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We believe that cooking is daily practice in creative problem solving, and that it can greatly improve physical and mental health. 

I am seeking a franchise partner to operate this school and lead a small team of Chef Instructors and Kitchen Assistants. As a franchisee, you would be the first in a growing network of independent cooking schools operating under the Brooklyn Kitchen brand. 

The Brooklyn Kitchen has been teaching folks to cook like grown-ass adults since 2006. Prior to shutting down completely due to COVID-19, we were operating at a 20% profit. Our CoGs are low and predictable. We have taught hundreds of guests in the current location since opening in December 2022. We have taught team building classes to top name companies such as Instagram / Meta and Virgin Management. 

We have 15+ years of experience in teaching hands-on cooking classes, and recipes and lesson plans for 30+ classes. We have a 19,000 person email list and almost 20K followers on Instagram.

As an owner-operator, you would be able to maximize efficiency while offering excellent guest experience to a growing audience. The ideal partner is an experienced cook with excellent management skills and customer service instinct.
