Install Lead-In-Training:
Full-Time (40 hours per week)
$19/hr for training period, promoted to $22/hr if 90 day training is successful
Reports To:
Lead-In-Training will report to the Logistics Manager.
Job Overview:
Community Foodscapes is an edible landscaping company, serving Atlanta by helping people from all backgrounds to grow food, restore habitats, and become environmental stewards of their communities. Lead-In-Training position will give you direct experience implementing foodscape projects across Metro Atlanta with the opportunity to master the art & science of edible landscaping.
Responsibilities:
● Consult with clients to help them better understand their property and achieve their vision. Then, work with the Designer to create an itemized quote based on client needs.
● Lead the installation of gardens, meadows, drainage, hardscapes, planting, maintenance of edible landscapes, and managing opportunistic (invasive) plant species.
● Collaborate with teams to problem-solve and accomplish daily, weekly, and monthly goals
● Take proper care of tools & equipment to avoid loss or misuse
● Be mindful and knowledgeable about Community Foodscapes quality and safety guidelines
● Operating machinery in accordance with Community Foodscapes' policies and procedures
● Participate in daily job preparation tasks/admin that precedes and follow installation work
● Supervise crew members with intentionality, honesty, and empathy
Minimum Qualifications
● Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds in varying weather conditions
● Must live in the metro Atlanta area

● Reliable transportation is a necessity. Do you have a clean driving record? Excessive speeding, at-fault accidents, and/or DUI will disqualify you from this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in farming, gardening, landscaping, construction and/or permaculture
● Experience driving large trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.

Compensation
this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $19.00 - $22.00
