Regalis is seeking a talented individual to join our team.  We are offering an introductory position making deliveries and sales to restaurant accounts in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.  This is more than just a driver job.  You will be taught all of the details of luxury food importing and distribution from the ground up. Regalis is committed to promoting from within. Nearly all of our salespeople and management positions have come from BOH and FOH restaurant positions, started in the delivery role and advanced through the company rapidly

Core Duties:

• Make daily product pickups from multiple vendor locations and airports
• Pull and pack products for daily delivery and shipping orders, ensuring that product integrity is maintained
• Make daily customer deliveries
• Communicate with Sales and Operations team on any order and delivery concerns
• Work as an integral part of the sales team
• Report on face time conversations with chefs, restaurant happenings, and any competitive products spotted in kitchens
• Upsell products to chefs on delivery
• Demonstrate knowledge of Regalis product lines, pricing, and appropriate applications
• Obey all traffic laws
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and cleaning needs and take action when needed
• Deliver efficient and friendly service
• Follow all Food Safety guidelines and protocols
• Handle and repack food stuffs in accordance with Regalis Foods HACCP and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) SOPs
• Participate in periodic scheduled Warehouse Inventories
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Assist with warehouse maintenance and organization
• Assist with other warehouse, receiving, and inventory tasks as needed
• Maintain a professional demeanor and productive relationships with co-workers across all levels of the company
• Adhere to all Regalis policies and procedures

Required Skills:

• Must have a valid drivers license with a safe driving record, required for insurance purposes
• Minimum 2 years kitchen experience
• Be trustworthy and willing to learn
• Be personable and enjoy facetime with customers
• Ability to lift heavy boxes (50lbs+)
• An appreciation of specialty foods is a plus
