Set up, PREP (have to be ok with a lot of chopping of vegetables)

Cook and maintain menu items for catering orders

Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen

Job description OneSeed IS HIRING! Catering Manager/Lead Cook. Hours are flexible and we are currently closed Saturdays and Sundays. We are strictly a catering business and looking for chefs that can execute simple recipes in large quantities to fulfill catering orders. Roles and Responsibilities:
• Set up, prep, cook and maintain menu items for catering orders
• Knowledge of the OneSeed brand and menu
• Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Adherence to food safety rules and regulations at all times
• Daily set up and break down of the kitchen, including receiving and unpacking deliveries
• Maintain inventory/par levels for all food and beverage items throughout the shift
• Understanding of food allergies and special orders/restrictions
• Ensure a high level of hospitality and guest satisfaction throughout the operation
• Communicate effectively with all team members and guests through telephone, written, and electronic communications
• Apply best practices in the interpretation and compliance of all policies, rules and regulations
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a great attitude
• Food Handlers License Required

Areas of Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• 2+ years fast casual/restaurant culinary experience
• Accurately cook recipes
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Ability to use a variety of foodservice equipment and tools
• Food safety knowledge
• Logistical planning and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Excellent initiative & follow through skills
• Attention to detail
• Proven work record of safe work practices and efficient time management skills.

Compensation Details:
• Part-time, hourly (starting at $19/h). Fast growth potential.
